Our fantastic team at Y Leisure city are currently recruiting for the following positions:

• Swimming Instructors
• Gymnastics Coaches

You will contribute to building the self-esteem of children, enhancing their confidence and ensuring their time at the Y is the best part of a child's day!

Start your career in the recreation industry at a centre with many opportunities to spread your wings into other areas such as customer service, sports, gymnastics and tennis coaching, hosting birthday parties or working in our café.  Additional benefits include:

Your duties and responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

• Prepare lesson plans
• Provide professional instructions in a fun, safe and nurturing environment
• Assess the progress of students
• Liaise with parents and children providing appropriate feedback
• Create a welcoming atmosphere

• Demonstrating a high level of communication skills
• A fun and positive demeanor that resonates with children
• A passion for working with children 
• Well-developed supervision skills and customer service skills
• Flexible availability to work, including nights and weekends
• Passion for sports
• The ability to deal with patrons of all ages, cultures and abilities, then we would love to hear from you.

Mandatory Requirements/Qualifications

• Current National Police Check (no more than 6 months old) and to be renewed every 3 years.
• International Police check if you have lived outside Australia in the last 5 years
• Current Employee Working With Children Check
• First Aid & CPR
• Relevant qualification
