Career opportunities:

You will have the opportunity to work across a wide range of programs.  All roles will attract casual loading, and certain programs will also offer extra penalty rates.

We have various positions available which involve assisting and supporting people with a range of different disabilities and support needs.  These positions include:

  • Group social & recreational programs (centre and community based)
  • School Holiday Program
  • Weekend camps to various locations

Mandatory Requirements/Qualifications

  • Current Working with Children Check (VIC)
  • Current NDIS Worker Screening Check 
  • International Police check if you have lived outside Australia in the last 5 years
  • Current First Aid & CPR
  • Qualification in Community Services or equivalent - don’t have one, that’s fine let’s talk about how to get you qualified and how we can help!

*Please note: whilst relevant experience and a Community Services Qualification is desirable, the Y is willing to consider candidates with a passion for working in the disability sector and have relevant life experience.
