Y Whittlesea is on the lookout for tennis coaches to provide amazing coaching experiences for people of all ages at the Y Leisure City in Epping.  Enjoy a fun, dynamic and supportive team environment. This is a casual opportunity supporting our tennis programs which run throughout the week. You may be required to work additional hours between Monday through to Saturday.

Some of the key duties of this position include:

• Providing on court coaching according to the programs developed by the Head Coach – Tennis.
• Assisting the Head Coach to implement innovative coaching programs focusing on participation within the community at all levels.
• Displaying enthusiasm, patience, respect and innovation to students and the team.
• Ensuring high standards of customer service and quality programs are always maintained.
• Being friendly, approachable and helpful to all students and their parents/guardians where applicable.

A positive attitude and collaborative approach will help you succeed in this role.

What do we hope you’ll bring?

• Legal right to live and work in Australia.
• Current Working with Children Check (WWCC) and National Police Check dated in the last 6 months (or willing to obtain).
• International Police check if you have lived outside Australia in the last 5 years.
• A passion for tennis and demonstrated tennis experience (playing/competing).
• A fun, positive and supportive demeanour.
• Strong communication skills.
• The ability to engage with patrons of all ages, cultures and abilities.
• Flexible availability to work, including nights and weekends.
• A tennis coaching qualification is not necessary but would be highly regarded.
