The Opportunity

As Principal of our Senior Campus, you’ll play a key leadership role within our established and growing independent school. Working closely with our Executive Principal, lead teachers and exceptional team of teaching and youth support work staff, you’ll lead the delivery of high-quality education and student wellbeing outcomes for students in years 10-12.

You’ll lead and oversee senior campus operations, support outstanding teaching and learning, and maintain a safe, supportive, and inclusive environment for students and staff. You’ll also contribute to strategic planning, policy development, and the ongoing growth of a school community dedicated to improving outcomes for young people who have become disengaged from mainstream education.

Qualification and Experience

  • Legal right to live and work in Australia.
  • Four-year trained tertiary qualification in education.
  • Registered with the Victorian Institute of Teaching.
  • Police Check (International if you have lived outside Australia in the last 5 years).
  • Current First Aid, CPR, Anaphylaxis and Asthma quals.
  • Leadership skills and the ability to lead a small team and coordinate programs.
  • Highly developed communication skills.
  • Demonstrated knowledge and skills to tailor programs for disengaged young people.
  • Ability to engage with at-risk students and navigate challenging behaviours.
  • Experience in working with young people who have become disengaged from mainstream education.
