The Opportunity

We are seeking a talented Payroll Officer to join our friendly and passionate team on a part-time basis three (3) days a week (0.6 FTE – days/time to be discussed upon appointment including a day WFH). In this role, you will provide crucial support for the payroll operations of our organisation and ensure the accuracy and integrity of wage compliance records. This is an opportunity to showcase your supreme payroll abilities, organisational skills and meticulous attention to detail to support a fortnightly payroll of around 500 employees (and growing!). Some of your key responsibilities will include:

  • Oversee the complete accurate payroll data is prepared to send to our 3rd party payroll partner
  • Maintain accurate payroll data compliance and periodic audits
  • Process and reconcile superannuation payments, PAYG, other payments and employee deductions on a monthly basis
  • Work as part of collaborative team
  • Work with our partners and management team on ensuring accurate and timely payroll reporting and be the point of call for time and attendance help support.

What We Hope You’ll Bring:

  • Legal right to live and work in Australia.
  • Established years of payroll experience.
  • Desirable experience with Humanforce and ADP or an ability to adapt and learn new HRIS systems.
  • Current employee Working with Children check (WWCC).
  • National Police Check (or International Police check if you have lived/worked overseas in the past 5 years).
  • Meticulous attention to detail and strong organisation skills.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
