Y Whittlesea is a not-for-profit that happens to be the oldest youth organisation in the world and oldest social enterprise, where all profits go back into our communities.

What’s the Opportunity
We’re always on the lookout for enthusiastic and passionate Support Workers to join our team and support people with a disability to participate in the Y’s seasonal programs and camps. Bring your passion and enthusiasm to the Y, where every day is filled with laughter, growth, and heartwarming moments. We offer seasonal Support Worker opportunities in the following areas:
As a Disability support Worker with our seasonal programs, you will assist in providing programs that are fun and flexible to children, teenagers and adults with varying disabilities. Your mission is to ensure that every participant embarks on thrilling adventures, hones their skills, enjoys social interactions, and achieves personal milestones. Activities focus on building independent living skills, social skills, and community access.

Mandatory Requirements/Qualifications
Whilst relevant experience and a Community Services Qualification is desirable, the Y is willing to consider candidates with a passion for working in the disability sector and have relevant life experience.
